Maybe it's because we've been beaten down for so long. Maybe it's because we've been cheated out of what should have been ours. I don't know what it is, but Democrats need to STOP being victims and stop allowing Republicans to control the conversation. It's as if they have some sort of mind control over us where we assume that no matter what, they have superiority.
Democrats have got to change the way we think and realize we actually can win the Presidency, whether our nominee is Obama or Clinton.
Let's look at some of the reasons why.
1. The Republican Party is not united behind McCain. They are not excited and energized to work for McCain and get out the vote.
2. McCain. McCain. McCain. Is this the best they can do?
3. The past 7 1/2 years. If people have been happy with the way this country has been run, then vote for McCain, because it'll be 4 more years of the same. This point needs to be driven home.
4. Disenfranchised Independents and Republicans who want a new direction.
I could probably list more, but my point is this - Democrats are in a position to splinter the Republican party for a very long time and we need to be aggressive and think as winners.
No more fear posts about what Republicans are going to do to our nominee in the GE. We need to talk about what we're going to do to John McCain.
Thank you. :kick: :patriot:
