Seriously? You're asking Alabamians to boycott Alabama? If you say so. What, am I supposed to drive to Mississippi to buy groceries?

Thirty-five senators voted against the bail-out. Not all of them are from Alabama.

I don't like Richard Shelby, and I've never voted for him, but he's been consistently against government bail-outs. He voted against the Wall Street bail-out, and against the Chrysler bail-out, in 1979 during his first term in the House.

It's about 45 miles to the nearest state border, and, you know, their Senators voted against the bailout, too.

Oh, by the way, I don't mean to be a smartass or anything, but you might consider promoting your little hissyfit promotion somewhere else.

Don't blame the entire banking failure on Richard Shelby. Yes, he's a hypocrite because he voted against the stimulus while getting millions in earmarks for Alabama every month but hey, I live in Alabama and he's getting millions for education, UAB, schools, fire departments, etc., in Alabama.

How would boycotting Alabama teach anybody a lesson? That's the dumbest crap I've ever heard.

8. There's one small problem: lots of peeps in Middle Tenn and NE MS shop and work in Huntsville!
I can see TN from my bedroom window, but it is not nearly so convenient unless I want a lotto ticket.
