Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is coming to Rosemont this spring.

Palin will be the featured speaker for an event taking place on May 12 at the Rosemont Theatre, sponsor WIND-AM 560 announced Monday.

The station's general manager, Jeff Reisman, said there's "no stronger voice for the conservative movement" than Palin. She's expected to speak and then take questions from the audience.

Tickets for "An Evening with Sarah Palin" go on sale at 9 a.m. Monday, March 22 and will be priced from $54 to $297 at Ticketmaster.com. People who register at 560wind.com by 9 a.m., Friday, March 19, will get an e-mail link to buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public, the radio station said on its Web site.
