Please call or email Governor Granholm - Libraries
I read where the governor has signed a bill that will do a lot to harm our library system...in last Sunday's paper....

Please email and ask her to leave the libraries alone.

2. Yes, please write your state senator and representative
Executive Order 2009-36 will abolish the Library of Michigan and scatter its contents to other agencies some of them out of State. The MeLCat sharing resource and databases will be drastically cut. Please contact your legislators and ask them to maintain state aid for libraries at the current levels.
Saving two millions dollars to eliminate the Department of History Arts and Libraries may destroy our heritage.
