Where is Tom Daschle?

Hey All:

I'm doing a story on the funding for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) pork program. Even the drug czar wants to cut back on HIDTA funding, but it probably won't happen, especially with all the sheriffs screaming in unision about the meth epidemic. The House Justice appropriations bill, already passed, has reinserted full HIDTA funding.

Anyway, South Dakota is part of a HIDTA--although I must say I have never seen a high-intensity anything in South Dakota--and I'm thinking a retired Daschle might be willing to talk about how South Dakota just happened to become a HIDTA beneficiary when he was the top Democrat in Congress.

So, does anyone know where is Tom?
