Has anyone received their Absentee Ballot?

I've sent in my request the first week of September and still haven't received it. I got it in 2006 just fine can't remember when I got it. Has anyone gotten theirs yet?

1. I know of a fellow UK Dem who's mailing hers back today, but I probably won't receive mine until

at least the 2nd, more likely the 3rd, week in October. It annoys me that they always send ballots out so close to the deadline where I'm registered.

2. I know I'm registered to vote in Minnesota (I checked and double checked)

And I sent off my request a while ago. I still haven't gotten mine... and I'm silently cursing the postie (although it's not his fault!)

3. Update... I emailed the city hall

They said they sent off my ballot the 3rd of October! So I should get it fairly soon.

5. No ballot, email reply from Stark County OH board of elections...

I am bumping this thread because I am STILL waiting for my absentee ballot. I requested it at the beginning of September and they told me they would start mailing them by the 31st of September at the latest. I emailed the Stark County OH board of elections because I received a letter in four days that my sister sent from Stark County to the UK (so I figured they hadn't sent one out yet).

NOW their reply is:

"Sorry your ballot is taking so long to find it's way to you. We are waiting for our shipment of ballots that should arrive by this weekend. However, we have the ability to print ballots through a software system so we are now printing overseas ballots to get them out quicker. Most of the overseas ballots will be mailed tomorrow."

This is making me upset. I want to cast my vote in this historic election. I feel like they are taking that right away from me. I know most places don't even bother to count the ballots that come in from overseas near to the election unless the vote is close :(. That is why I requested my ballot so early!

I want my vote counted!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. I'm sorry

I felt the same way. Did you email the city hall? I didn't email the board of elections, I emailed the city hall and received a prompt reply and they told me when they sent mine out.

7. Got them mid September.

Our California ballots have always arrived in good time. We're on permanent absentee status, which means we don't have to request it every year.
We've already voted and posted them back.
We're in the Netherlands.

I'm surprised by the delays. Since I ways already registered, I could submit my request by email, receive my ballot by email, and submit my ballot materials by email. I just had to mail in the ballot also, to be received by November 4th.

I guess NJ is a bit more progressive than many states...

11. Its already here in Germany

Meridian Township, Michigan sent mine about 1 October ... arrived here in Germany in 4 days.
