Remember to set your TiVos or tune into CSpan
online or on the TeeVee tomorrow starting at 9 AM. Beware, though, they've invited Kenneth Blackwell (yes that Kenneth Blackwell) and some other RWers.

I look forward to Tavis Smiley's State of the Black Union every year!

2. I was glued to the tv
and very, very disappointed Blackwell from Ohio wasn't there and the guy from HUD wasn't there. The one republican from Oregon said something smart, that we should have representatives from BOTH caususes and then went on to reassure that she works with her 'sisters' across the aisle. I never saw her campaign spiel or even her before, to be honest.

I loved that the black megachurch was represented and discussed on the panel. I regretted there wasn't a forum for Mosley to be questioned further regarding his Black PAC idea too.

I've got to get the covenant because its one thing to be all uplifted for one day out of the year and let that feeling fade until the next such event. They sure made it seem like a good reference piece to use for demanding better for ALL Americans and for organizing.

What I got from the whole long affair was what we already know: it's not about r & d but about r & w. Yeah!
