Mr. Laurel and I have decided that we need to get into better shape, especially since winter is just about here. (We don't have the long-term Mainer "go exercise in 15 degree weather" constitution.) Many moons ago, his parents had good luck with the Deal-a-Meal system from Richard Simmons. It's modern incarnation is the FoodMover, which focuses on portion control and getting in the right combination of nutrient groups.
I just came across this group, and was wondering if anyone here has used the FM and can give ideas about how user-friendly it is (esp. compared to Weight Watchers) and tips for success. Right now, my head is spinning with the need to get foods in such specific portion sizes and combine them in the right ways. An added promblem is that I work weird hours (12-8), so I don't eat normal meals.
