Omg Biden!!

Did you hear his latest? Chris Matthews just showed it in his Sideshow.

Biden stopped for ice cream and when he asked the guy how much he owed him, the guy replied - Mr Vice President it's on us...just lower our taxes, blah, blah blah...

Joe's response? Can't you just say something nice and not be such a smartass.

He's usually so nice to people.

2. I know - in the clip he seemed so grumpy.

It reminded me of that other Joe from the 80's.

He must've been tired. Usually he can handle wisecracks.

I picture more of a joke and a smile out of Joe. The clip did remind me of the "old Joe" too.

5. Okay - having read the other posts here (all yours, you guys) I now see that he

wasn't been funny in a friendly type of way.

I predict Joe feels awful about it and will sincerely apologize to the guy. I don't think he'd ever want to hurt somebody's feelings.

How did the guy respond by the way?

6. I don't know - you know the media, they cut it off right after Joe's

smartass remark.

7. The guy was shocked

by Joe's reaction and upset according to the news. I would be too. Sometimes people make dumb jokes that don't come across quite right and evidently this one hit Joe in the wrong way. Fortunately the incident got upstaged by much bigger news yesterday and Joe was shown on TV speaking about the loss of Senator Byrd.

9. I really hope Joe apologizes and turns on the charm - there is no reason to

treat somebody like that -- the guy was just making a joke, AND giving Joe free ice cream!

10. Jon Stewart played clip from FOX News

and the guy said very positive things about Joe. Said he was really nice and FOX flunkies kept trying to get him to say something negative. Once again the media played this way out of proportion.

I understand obsessing, as it is so NOT Joe, but when you see the whole picture, it isn't nearly as bad as the media made it look. The media edited that video down to the worse part, making sure to emphasize the word "ass".

8. Jon Stewart is going to have that clip on his show tonite.

Stewart must be tingling for another chance to bash Biden...altho Biden deserves it this time.
