earlier this year (July) in San Diego, Conyers came to the
convention and mention that "... all he needs is three more
Congress Members backing impeachment, and he'll move on it,
even without Pelosi."

When someone in the crowd asked about the current
motion H.Res. 333 regarding impeaching Cheney, being held
up in his Judicial Committee, he ignored the question.
This resolution already had 14 signers.
Why didn't he move forward with the resolution then?

Last January (2007), Conyers spoke at a huge rally on the
National Mall and declared
"We can fire them!"
but later explained that what he meant was that we could
wait for two years and Bush and Cheney's terms would end.

I don't expect anything to happen, because I'm afraid
the current Democratic Leadership would be implicated
as accomplices.
