LAT: A Terrorist Walks (Luis Posada Carriles), April 23, 2007

Don't forget Bush Family buddies Orlando Bosch and Luis Posada Carriles., October 4, 2008

Bush-appointed judge drops charges against Posada, May 8, 2007

May 24, 2007 From Prensa Latina:

.....The United States is faced with Venezuela"s extradition request for Posada Carriles, who escaped from a Caracas prison, where he was doing time for organizing and greenlighting the sabotage of a Cuban civilian airplane in 1976, killing all 73 people on board, in addition to being a repressor in that South American country.

.....

The Nicaraguan government and Salvadorian organizations have presented evidence of Posada Carriles" participation in the Iran-Contras operation to arm Central American counterrevolutionaries, and a Panamanian court sentenced him for plotting to assassinate Cuban President Fidel Castro.
On many occasions, Posada Carriles entered US territory illegally as part of his violent operations, as US prosecutors admitted.

However, all those crimes seemed to vanish when the defendant threatened to reveal the secrets he keeps from the time he was a CIA operative.

There's no question as to why Posada Carriles walks free.
