...technology exists as I have seen it at the university many times and have a primitive setup here. It is not the same as face to face and not that great on dealing with a large number of separated people. I am sure Kerry could operate such a system and is not afraid of a computer; he can't make a post to his own website, but he isn't afraid of technology. He probably has access in the Senate for teleconferencing should he choose to do so, but for what he needs to do he needs to be there. If he wants to leave his seat "idle" he needs to forgo the pay, or start being there.
