Boston Police Deal Won't Stop Convention Picketing, Union Says
Advertisements [?]
A state-appointed arbitrator's settlement of a two-year-old contract dispute between Boston's police union and the city won't keep police from picketing events at next week's Democratic National Convention, the head of the police union said.

Boston Police Patrolmen's Association President Thomas Nee said the 1,428-member union will picket the 29 parties Mayor Thomas M. Menino is scheduled to throw for Democratic delegates from around the country. Many delegates have said they won't cross picket lines, and at least two parties have been canceled.

What the hell is wrong with these people? Would they rather have Bush in office for another four years? Is this a right wing operation to make Kerry look bad or are they just too stubborn to see the big pictures?
