67. And me without my Leather T - Birds Jacket!

These ladies have what the French call a certain, I don't know what. I believe these disruptions, however unprecidented are necissary. By infiltrating the RNC these protesters are accomplishing what thousands of protesters outside could not do, they are making the Right leaning Media acknowledge their existence.

By spontainiously showing up on Live national Television and causing a stir, they are letting the American Public know that there are protesters! Pre-9/11 Post-9/11 Pre-Iraq War - to now can you honestly tell me that the American Media Machine has done an adaquate job of covering the voices of dissent in this country. Before the Iraq invasion there were memos handed down from the top telling the News Department not to air footage of protest because, to paraphrase, our veiwers don't want to see that sort of thing. Since When is the News about showing people only what they want to see?

This gave a large portion of Americans the impression that the entire population of the U.S. was in strong support of the war, when it was more like 50/50. Had more people known how strongly divded the country was, more people might have spoken up about it. Our representatives might have been more receptive to the notion that we shouldn't rush into things.

Doesn't help that whenever somebody did air footage of protestors, they didn't show the buisness suit clad lawyers, or toddler toting soccer moms, no... they got the really, well "extreme" looking ones on TV. Don't get me wrong, I love those guys, but the mainstream media used that footage to create the impression that anti-war protesters were part of some small fringe group.

Then there are the "Free Speech Zones"... Oh, don't even get me fucking started.

(P.S.) I Love the duality of the "Fire Bush" Pink Slip. You get a Pink Slip when you get fired!
