Micheal Isikoff was closely associated with Lucianne Goldberg and Linda Tripp and helped them (as repug operatives) elevate the Monica matter - he was the most interested and indignant about the salacious details of the contact. He would get on tv and smirk and carry on to the point I just wanted to pull out his tongue and slap him with it. He was so smug and so self-righteous. He is a first class jerk and frankly seemed real dedicated to ingratiating himself with the repugs.

I think he lost a lot of stature within his profession over his hounding of Clinton on a false issue.
