I also pointed out to the prior poster (#32) that there indeed were proportional font systems available in that time frame. Bear in mind that at this point, not even Rather, is claiming that it is authentic.
Its really a contracts issue. Post #63 has a great deal of details on that.
Regardless of outcome, Rather is now free to investigate and report on his own without interference from management. A very good thing.
