I'm sure she thought something else would get her. She was wrong. She died a horrible death, lung cancer with metastases to her spine, spending the last months of her life bedridden and in pain that morphine couldn't touch and with my asshole father insisting on every treatment modality available to keep her alive as long as possible. :cry:

My deepest regret is that I didn't have the nerve to have a private conversation with her to find out what SHE wanted.
