our elected leaders did anything that was even the least bit liberal? Didn't we used to have usury laws before the 1980s that, in most states, capped the interest rate at 10%? So the only choice we have is a corporate fix or no fix at all. When I meet people from other countries, they say the democrats here are like the conservative party in their country and the republican party is like.....well, they don't usually finish the sentence.....
