as for the rest, how will it be determined if those things are indeed occurring? by anonymous tip, as in this case? or through a public, legal trial by the rule of law?

it doesn't matter what my views on polygamy are. i support the rule of law, even for those accused of being pedophiles. if you don't, then you should have no problem with your kids being taken from you on the strength of an anonymous tip. Thus far, the person who called hasn't fessed up.
