2. We are witnessing the disintegration of the Republican Party in real time
Rush Limbaugh is not only the leader of the Republican Party, he is the last leader of the Republican Party.

They went from first to worst in eight years under chimpy Bush, and now Limbaugh steps up to finish the job. The core support of the Republican Party has become a fringe group of authoritarian conservatives that border on Fascism, neocons, and religious fundamentalists who are finding themselves further and further into the minority.

The people who consider themselves to be on the right hand side of the political spectrum are discovering that they are neither in the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party. This will lead to the demise of the what is now know as the Republican Party as the center right forms a new political group.

We should do all that we can to hasten elimination of this pox on society. There should be no compromise with the Republicans; they need to be utterly crushed.
