They drive their gas guzzling SUVs because thhey CAN, and they WILL, dammit. There's no global warming, and Timmy likes to watch the TV in the back. They'll drive what they want to drive, dammit. Al Gore isn't gonna tell them what to drive!

I go to church on Sunday! That makes me a decent human being! Never mind what I do the other 6 days of the week!

Of course they're happier. They don't have those pesky things called "Consciences" to get in their way.
