7. unfortunately..
the main reason i can think of (from working in a Barnes & Noble for far too long years ago...) Is that these books are bought, sent to main retailers, then are returned 'for credti' to the publishers. They have to sell them somewhere. That is where Costco WalMart etc come in. They do as always... buy at deep deep discounts, and volume, so they can pass thee savings on to consumers.

With no one buying these books, there is nowhere else for them to go. Unlike Ms. (?) Klein's book, which has more merit in the cover alone that those combined, probably has less printings, and the publisher does not flood the market with them, leading to the lack thereof at these outlets.

But that's my theory, at least.
