We've got money to burn!(even on the failed drug war)

In our frenzy to throw money at every threatened business,why should the drug smugglers and their cohorts in government be left out?

Do you suppose the government will ever wise up?Or,are there powerful and important people involved in drug trafficking that won't allow legalization?
