If you'll recall (and yes, I started a new thread about this, but I think this is a pretty damn big hypocrisy here), during the campaign season of 2004, DOLE and other republicans made a BIG DAMN DEAL out of saying that Kerry shouldn't go around talking about his military accomplishments. That veterans "just don't do that." They chided him, tsk-tsked him, and tore him up every chance they got for it.

Well GUESS who's got a book out now ALL about his military accomplishments and how he got hurt in the war?

DOLE.

Guess who's on every single radio and talk show, pimping said book?

DOLE.

Hmmm, so let me see if I have this straight:

It's ok to brag about your military accomplishments IF YOU ARE A REPUBLICAN.

It's ok to slam, smear and slander (UNTRUTHFULLY) a fellow veteran IF YOU ARE A REPUBLICAN.

It's ok to MAKE FUN OF A MEDAL many many courageous veterans have received IF YOU ARE A REPUBLICAN.

Gotcha.

Biggest bunch of hypocrites I have ever seen or heard of in my LIFE.

I want someone to ask Dole why it's suddenly ok for HIM to go around talking all about his military accomplishments, when they bitch-slapped Kerry for doing the SAME DAMN thing just a few months ago?
