Beck used to have a local show here in New Haven. He was shiathouse crazy back then, too. Suddenly he vanished, and I remember thinking that's the end of him, obviously no stopping to think that he had all the qualities which would make him a natural with the hate radio crowd. He's probably wealthy now, although his soul is impoverished and he probably unconsciously loathes himself.
