I went nuts an hour ago when I saw a segment about the freepers leaving San Francisco for Crawford. The women reporter on the scene referred to the caravan as "patriotic".

I was extremely concerned about this story hitting the national news with this feed from the San Francisco NBC affiliate, so I called the newsroom and eventually got through to the producer, who stopped me mid-way through my rant to tell me he totally agreed with me that it was wrong to use that language, and he promised to fix it.

He sounded very concerned and I am taking him at his word that he will edit the segment. He also said that the video had not gone national, as yet, since it had just happened.

Their contact info is below if anyone wants to give them positive re-enforcement.
