I'm sick of Dems crying about stuff but not Fighting the Right Wing to try to do something about it. The reason the right has total control beyond the disinformation campagn of the past 30 years and the money, is because the WEAK WEAK Dems let them have the control by not preventing it..That is the flat out truth of it..Look at the post office post about privatization..Obvoiusly it is very very distrubing and SAD..Do the Dems do anything to prevent it? Hell no...Most of them probably voted in favor of the cuts and privatization just like the did for the patriot act, the Illegal Iraq War, the 87 billion they are giving halliburton, and other Bush Friends in Iraq, and just about everything elese they side with the Repugs on..

Case in Point, Just look at the last election when the supreme court appointed the president and meddled in a FL state Supreme court issue in which they had no constitutional authority to do...This country is a Mess, and the Dems are a Fraud of a party...Just as bad as the right wing..Maybe even worse because they go on and on about protecting the working people but do little about it and for the most part, actually help the Right to achieve their agenda...Please feel free to dispute this and prove me wrong...Also, I used to be an optimist in terms of politics but I have been beaten down by the stark reality of the state of our country and feel nothing but sorrow and RAGE of late...I'm mean shiny happy optimism for next year, and how we can turn it around and beat Bush..yada yada yada..It's all hot air...HE SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO TAKE OFFICE IN THE FIRST PLACE....That is the fundamental failure of the Left in BLATENT View...

I can not and WILL NOT support ANY current candidate who goes against the moral correct and right thing to do, just to play the political game any longer...I certainly WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER support ANY of the current Washington Insider Candidates in ANY venture politically or personally again..I'm just fed fed fed up and quite certainly so should the rest of you be..Enough of this beating around the bush, skirting the issues for personal political gain and enough of letting the right get away with their blatent elitist Agenda!!! ENOUGH of NOT calling them on their lies right away and right to their faces..What do these Dems have to fear by calling them out???? Maybe they have to fear the Right calling them out on their own hipocracy??

I'm so disenfranchised that i don't know what to do or where I stand politically..I have never thought of myself as anywhere near and extreme leftist..I'm Anti-communist and don't believe in a totally bloted social welfare system, but do believe in a Fair welfare system designed to help people when they are down and get them back up on their feet. I believe in investing in ourselves and strong education, alternative and renewable energy but not at the cost of driving whatever size truck I want..Why can't a Hummer run on Hydrogen?..I believe in weening ourselves off the fossile fuel economy, I believe in cooperation with an international community, do not believe in the unilateral approach this country has embraced for the better part of the last 1/2 century..Do not believe in paranoid anti-free speach laws or laws the restrict personal freedom at the cost of "protecting me" I'll protect myself just fine..Believe in free speech, a womans right to choose, a strong all inclusive, Universal Health Care system for every American..In fact, I believe as a nation our number one focus should be to make sure the lives of our people and our interest socioeconomically come first and formost. We should all have decent jobs, a right to education, health care. However I'm against strict Gun laws as far as personal ownership, but I am for Limiting purchases on Assault Weapons so no one person can own an armoury. I'm for strict Goverment regulation of ALL private industry and Government enforcement against corporate price gauging..The opposite of what we have now and have had..I'm against ALL soft money political donating and feel every candiate should have a set amount they can work with and can not get ANY money from special interst groups..Only small donations from individuals and a set amount by the Federal goverment that is Equal for all candidates. Political Candidates should all have a level playing field to present their view to the people and may the best person win. Like NASCAR where all the Cars can only have so much horsepower as to keep it all on a level playing field...This needs to be done politically.

As far as Taxes go, I believe that the Rich should pay more because they make more. Taxes should be proportional to the amount you earn...However I do not believe the Government has a right to 40 or 50% of ANYONES Money...I believe in the Legalization of Marijuana as it pretty harmless and that Alcohol is much much worse for you. I believe you have a right to smoke cigaretts and pretty much do anything you want short of endanging anyone else as long as you are on your own land or in your own home..However, i Believe ALL smoking..Cigars, Cigarettes, Pot, Pipe, Clove, should be BANNED in ALL pulbic places..I don't feel I should haev to be subjected to the 2nd hand smoke but you should have a place that is designated and closed off so you can go smoke to your hearts content. Foreign policy wise, i believe that we need to have a strong defense and act Militarily if directly threatened, but this precident with a preemptively striking another county has to be cut off..That is Flat out wrong, imperialistic anti Jeffersonian Democracy..Anti-American and should not be stood for.

I believe ALL elected Politicians should have term limits..I do not care how great a states man someone may be. They should have their set amount of time to SERVE our country and then if they are further needed or desired they can be an appointed official in an administration but are through with being elected. That could help to solve alot of problems with career politicians ending up looking out for their own careers. I believe when they are in office they should be paid well for their service and should recieve all the perks they need to get the job done for the American people. I do not believe they should be allowed to accept ANY donations, gifts, money, or favors from ANY special interest group..Should ALL be illegal punishable by impeachment and imprisonment. Even down to gifts to trusts, family or corporations that the elected offical is tied to.

Anyway, I'm sorry for the Rant but i'm really in trouble politically speaking and I dont' know where I stand as I basically hate them all right now and feel the entire system is broken. Why is our form of Democracy the "Best"? What about it makes it better and fairer then a parlimentary system like the UK? Why do their seem to be more of that system of Democracy and less of our type of Government? What other countries have a Democratic Government set up like The United States?...Can anyone tell me where I stand politically? What would you classify me if you had to put a label on my views? Help...
