if you can afford to live there. I live just outside of Boulder, but was born in the city.
The biggest complaints people have about it is that it is somewhat elitist, and that it is poorly run. It is very liberal and very Democratic though, so you would not feel out of place in that respect.
You have my sympathies living in a very RW area. Boulder is an oasis in an otherwise very RW state.
