He is one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. He just cannot spell, and takes his time when speaking so as to make sure he is getting his point across. One of the reasons he is not an active member of DU is because people get so wrapped up in mistakes. If I can understand your point, I'm not going to begrudge you your use, or lack of use, of apostrophes, commas...etc.

I always tell myself that when someone needs to rag on my skills, it's because they can't debate the point anymore. :) It makes me feel better when I am in GD.
