these things go off without a hitch all the time... she is not going to hold a grudge at all.
if you have any complications from stitch picking- some cats, including my caindy (that's her below) are so obsessed with picking at things, i had a feeling she'd try and rip the stitches. just know, they can give you that cone head/ queen elizabeth collar at the vet if you're concerned, but you can also make your own softer, easier to sleep in one with a mouse pad. and then sophie will know that momma really cares and is smarter than mcgyver. you're going to bond plenty in the next few days.
