It's a mostly harmless hobby but at a convention I guarantee you they will come across a few hentai booths. (Don't google hentai at work...it's cartoon porn pretty much) The operators are usually good about not letting underage folks see that stuff. If you let them go, explain that you expect them to avoid hentai and inspect their purchases when they come home.
