Baseball fans: give me a reason to root for your team.

I'm a hardcore fan of the now-defunct Montreal Expos. As anyone who likes baseball enough to even look at this thread knows, the team moved to Washington - which is basically in my back yard. Nevertheless, I can't root for the Nats because it breaks my heart to even see them on TV.

I love baseball and can't stand not having a team to root for. All I can do is root against teams I hate. Here they are: Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Braves, Giants, Astros, Rangers, (After Bush, I couldn't root for a Texas team at fucking gunpoint) Cubs - no offense to any fans of these teams.

If you're a fan of a team that I haven't mentioned, can you (please, please) give me a reason to root for your team? I'm leaning towards a few, but won't mention them - at least not yet.

I need a team, and this site is visited by the most rational minds I have seen on any site. Any help would be appreciated.
