7. a friend of mine
went to visit his family. His sister had a litter of kittens, so he took one. Got home late that night.

Settled the kitten down, gave it some food, showed it where the litter box was and spent a little time with it.

He also had a few groceries to put away. Groceries were put away, he grabs a beer and heads off to bed to read for awhile before going to sleep.

In the morning, he gets up late. Barely has time for a quick shower and to get dressed. As he's rushing around the house he notices he doesn't see the new kitten. He starts calling to kitten, rattling dry food bag, looking under furniture etc. can't find the kitten

looking at the clock he realizes he's going to be late. So he dumps food into a bowl, puts down fresh water, and then opens the fridge to get a quick glass of juice.

there sitting on the middle shelf of the fridge is the kitten. It's fine, yawns and hops out.

The kitten was in the fridge all night. No harm done except a package of hotdogs was half gone.

so a kitten can spend the night in the fridge if it has hot dogs
