Black lab on a 3 lane freeway - with plenty of traffic. Semis swerving around him, the whole works. I pulled over and got out - tried to get him to come to me. He ran over the embankment and would not come to me. I finally gave up and left because there was nothing I could do. He ran away and hopefully didn't go back to the highway. It took a LONG time for me to get over that sick feeling though ... So I understand. :hug:
