That sweet little baby-puppy will soon be an inquisitive adolescent getting into and chewing everything in sight. The destructive stage lasts a long time, until age 10-12 months or so.
You will need to leave her in the crate (or a secure room) if you have to go anywhere. Try putting her in the crate with a stuffed Kong toy for short periods. When she starts to associate the crate with something pleasurable, she will even go in there on her own. The crate is their den or safe haven.
