I recently went to a Suicidal Tendencies show (because I never got to see them back in the day and I really like them and as long as Mike Muir was still in on it I could at least pretend it was a real ST show) but I didn't recognize the name of the opening band and knew nothing about them.

I was horrified to get to the club and find out they were a juggalo band. Juggalo clowns everyfuckingwhere.

The worst part is that in between the awful music the lead singer would go on long rants - AND I MOSTLY AGREED WITH HIM! It was terrible. lol. He would rant about the far right (which I love to do too) and he was talking a lot about "family" and sticking together but loving everyone and not trying to war on people with different opinions (probably that in a sense of self preservation - among other things I feel like juggalos carry around a huge persecution chip and it's not hard to see why) and there were several bi-racial couples and they were all getting along so I have to assume from my one limited engagement with them that at least my local juggalos are not down with racists.

And all that is very fine with me.

But gawd the music is so un-enjoyable. And the clown stuff is simply ridiculous. And they DO attention whore and then cry about being persecuted and then attention whore more and then cry more and it's all very exhausting.

If they had better music I would make room for them in my life but they don't.

oh and PS: Suicidal Tendencies (well, Mike Muir and his band) were fantastic.
