7. "no holds barred" means, in the context of a

wrestling match, that no wrestling holds are barred (forbidden.) Presumably, in other matches some holds are barred.

All I really know about wrestling is that the first year I taught high school, when I heard an announcements for "tryout for wrestling cheerleaders" I started laughing.

Who knew wrestling cheerleaders had become an actual sport ?
