23. Nope.. we had to
Imust point out that it wasn't my decision but my mom and stepdad's, Tinker kept getting into the garbage and tearing it up and spreading it around the kitchen floor. We tried to punish her, but how the hell do you punish a cat? I had told my mom that it would have been better to give her to the Humane Society but mom told me that they wanted money in order to take Tinker in. So one night they put her in a box and left. I nver saw that cat again.

We had then reared a couple offspring of Tinker's, an all black female cat and a blue-grey male cat by the names of Hisser and Snappy.
Both cats were neither spayed nor neutered.

Hisser got pregnant with at least three litters before she finally went mad and we had to abandon her as well. She attacked me when I went into my sister's room where she was taking care of her latest litter.

After she was gone and six months later my mom decided to have Snappy neutered (he was spraying) and have his front claws declawed because she and hubby were planning on getting new furniture (which they never got.)

We had a fourth cat named Koko who was a seal point long haired Siamese with big beautiful ice blue eyes. My mom loved that cat. Well he had disappered for three days and he finally got back home one night. My sister picked him up and I noticed that something was wrong with his tail as it appeared that it was falling off. we took him to the vet and there was nothing much they could do. So he had to be put to sleep because even if there was surgery there was no guarantee he would have control of his bowels as the nerves were damaged. My mom cried all day because of that and she really misses that cat.

We had a manx cat named Sylvester who was an off color cat but he disappeared when we first moved to Hall St. prior to the other cats. My mom theorizes that the neighbors must have tortured an killed them because they were notorious for that.

But yeah that's all that happened. I love cats as well as reptiles and birds. But if I have a cat I wouldn't declaw them as I find that to be cruel and instead train it to use a scratching post of some sort. I would definately spay or neuter it because the apts that I am waiting to move into requires that.
