Reply #13: I think my newspaper carrier is expecting a tip

Since he included a greeting card TO me but with HIS full address in it in my paper.

I don't like such a blatant hint for something (last year the recycling guy left a newsletter in the bin that included pictures of him hiking in the Rockies along with a hint for a tip) but even more, I don't like that this guy is too lazy to pull in my driveway and just fires the paper out of his car window from the street and always either throws it into a puddle, snowbank, or my freshly planted flowers depending upon the season.

The carrier for the other paper, pulls into the drive and tosses my paper onto the porch. He, I may tip. And I always leave something for the postal carrier who is a great person and goes out of her way to keep my mail and packages dry and hidden if necessary.
