Reply #8: KPFK 90.1 and KTSU 99.1 and that's about it in this sucky market

KPFK is a Pacifica station - very lefty. Plus, excellent music programming including a LOT of Texas-based blues, rock, etc
KTSU is the campus station from predominantly black Texas State University. Primary programming is jazz, with soul on Fridays and Gospel on Sundays. Talk includes Tavis Smiley. An excellent station.

The NPR station is KUHF and it's OK, but I wish they'd include more NPR talk instead of all-classical programming.
They program ATC and Morning Edition, and Car Talk and Wait Wait on the weekends, but I'd like Terry Gross, Diane Rheem, etc also.
