I took part in a clean-up project at the historic Valley Cemetery in Manchester. We're clearing out scrub brush, picking up trash, and prepping it for the planting of new trees and plants. We had volunteers from City Year, Vista, Student Conservation Alliance, and the Timberland Corporation helping out. When the project is complete, a portion of the cemetery will be usable as public urban greenspace in the middle of inner city Manchester.

Tonight, I'm going to a Sierra Club rally at City Hall Plaza pushing for clean and sustainable energy alternatives.

So, what are YOU up to today?
