Actually the temperature doesn't matter a whole lot because you don't really have to worry about them burning.

I prefer to cook mine at a fairly high temperature of 450 just because they cook faster and don't tend to loose as much moisture. Just test for doneness after 45 minutes. To test either squeeze them with a towel to see if they have gone soft, or you can stab them with a fork and it should go in and come out fairly easily.

Like someone else said, stab the bejesus out of them before cooking.
