4. Can your doctor write a note for you
saying that it is impossible for you to be on a jury?

It would be impossible for me to sit in a courtroom for any extended period of time because of constant pain. I need to be able to take heavy meds pretty frequently, and I am sometimes zoned out and disoriented, so there is no way I am medically capable of sitting on a jury. Especially if a jury needed to be sequestered, it would put me into the ER. Two of my doctors would write a note for me with no problem.

So talk to your doctor. Especially if you are still recovering from a drug allergy, that's not something you take lightly. :(

Whatever happens, be well.
