How can DU better notify people in a call to action? |
|
I am still seeing people on DU ask "Where is there a vigil tonite?" for example,( re: Cindy) as they said they saw a post about it and didn't know where to look. Of course it is TOMORROW nite, and it has been posted a few times where to look; but obviously, some people are not getting the message. We need to do a better job of letting people know these things. Kicking a post to the greatest just doesn't seem to be enough. Maybe a more visible area on the home page about current actions we DU'ers can look at FIRST before cruising the discussion sites? Just thinking out loud.
