22. Why do YOU get to decide who stays in the Democratic Party?
Sorry, but who the f*ck made you boss? Lieberman, unlike the poseurs around here, has actually devoted his entire life to public service -- to advancing the cause of civil rights, women's rights, environmental protection, consumer protection. Frankly, most of you aren't fit to wash Joe's jockey shorts. I'm sorry that Joe Lieberman, who has consistently received high ratings from liberal organizations like NARAL, the Legaue of Conservation Voters, the Human Rights Campaign, the NAACP and the AFL-CIO, isn't liberal enough for you. But did it ever occur to you that perhaps you don't represent the political center of the Democratic Party? How about all the moderates who had to suffer through liberal nominees like George McGovern, Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis? Would if be fair for them to demand that these people get kicked out of the Democratic Party?

Here's a suggestion -- if you don't like Lieberman, why not stop wasting your time bashing him and go and and find a Democrat that you CAN support (assuming there actually is one), and say positive things about him (or her)?
