Internationalize AIG! Introducing the new G8 global financial regulation entity.

This came up in a separate thread, but I wanted to call this out and see what you think.

Do you think that the G8 countries could band together to "internationalize" AIG and offer to sell insurance to all banks in the world in an effort to stablize the financial system?

Is it time for a global solution to a global crisis? Would the freeper nutjobs freak out about a "New World Order"? Would you?
