the temp on the price is now set to 3 bucks. it will be 3.50-4.00 bucks by the end of the year. but between now and then it will drop down to 2.75 or maybe 2.80, then it will begin the slow creep up again, then fall back down to 3.10 or 3.20, then creep back up again. then settle someplace around 3.50. (this is a nation average)

I fully expect by the end of the year the west coast will be paying on the order of 5 bucks a gallon.
