Every time I drive by the numerous landfills in the DFW Metrosprawl, I get a little uneasy. There are only so many holes to fill, and not everyone is following the rules on what can be dumped safely and/or legally. I wonder how long it will be before something like this could be installed at the various waste collection stations around my area? Not that there are many forward thinking folks in govt. here, but loading trash onto a train to take a ride to the Gulf of Mexico is probably not too far down the road if something isn't done. And a healthy bottom line sure would motivate some government folks here.
