"Investigators found a handgun, crack cocaine, white powder and other items in the motel room of a man who authorities say is a suspect in a series of armed robberies in Clemmons and other cities, according to a search warrant.
Alfred Pleasant Hemric, 41, of Lexington and Kristin Marie O'Leary, 37, of Pfafftown were arrested Jan. 19 at Crossland Economy Studios at 7910 North Point Blvd in Winston-Salem.
Hemric is charged with five counts of armed robbery. He is accused of robbing a Central Carolina Bank branch in Clemmons, a Bank of America branch in Salisbury and a Food Lion store in Pfafftown. Hemric is accused of twice robbing the Food Lion store in Clemmons."
