19. I won't attack. I think you're right. But, I'm always the one who tries
to figure out how something gets done...how do the Dems talk to each other to make decisions about which fights to pick....they have to worry about bugs in the setting and leaks after the fact that could erase any plan - I don't see how they could all meet - all of them can't be trusted (without naming names).

So, I'm not sure that they are even a cohesive and complete group who could meet. I know they have made deals with the Repubs, but I am growing very skeptical and resentful of these deals.

I excused it or found rationalizations for it for years when Daschle was the go-between. I always thought I could see what they were doing or thought they knew what they were doing.

I wiped my trust slate clean and only want to believe in the ones with guts.

There is a litmus test I use:
Did the person vote for the Iraq invasion (disguised as permission to obtain permission from the rest of the world)?
Did the person vote for the Patriot Act?
Did the person vote for John Ashcroft?
Did the person know about PNAC before they were all in place?
and the new one is...
Is anyone going to stand up and tell everyone that the election was a theft (besides Boxer and those in the House)?

We are in such a mess - I hardly trust any of our Dem leaders.

We are in desparate times for all the reasons you mention.

They would probably want to continue in their old compromising ways and I (we?) want them to save us and there are too many of them who don't want to be heros and heroines.
